Outside my Window ... are the freshly painted rocking charis just waiting to be occupied. I am looking forward to some quite moments on the front porch enjoying them.
I am thinking... about the new school year and my last year of home schooling our daughter, Ginny. What are the things I want to focus on? What things have I missed with her? How can I make this a very special year for her?
I am thankful for... our friends in Harrisonburg, Virginia who extend an open invitation every summer to their guest house and spectacular swimming pool (see picture below).
From the kitchen... plans for some homemade pumpkin bread, a fresh loaf of flax seed bread and a buttermilk blueberry pound cake.
I am creating ... and updating year end transcripts for my high school age daughters.
I am going ... to go blueberry picking tomorrow with my mom, my sister and her kids in Markham, Virginia.
I am wearing... a khaki skirt and pink t-shirt.
I am reading... cookbooks.
I am hoping... to make a trip to Annapolis this week to see my son on his YP boat.
I am hearing ... little Lucy singing.
Around the house... the kids and I are creating plans for my husband's birthday on the third. We want to get him a new grill and make a memory book of "Why I Love My Daddy!"
One of my favorite things... creating plans for the next school year.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... catching up on all my ironing and filing so that next week we can devote to painting. Somewhere in the midst of all this we will celebrate the Fourth of July!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing ...
