This reminds me of one of those studies that show that "divorce has negative effects on children" or that "too much TV is bad for you". Duh! So here is another one of those rocket scientist discoveries to add to the same pile.
A chemist in Austria, who helped invent the birth control pill, has now concluded that his invention is partly to blame for the demographic imbalance in Europe.
"The fall in the birth rate, he claimed, was an 'epidemic' far worse, but less highlighted, than obestiy. In his view, young Austrians who fail to procreat are committing national suicide."
Really now?! I can hear the voice of Pope Paul VI predicting just exactly this.
