Welcome precious Mia Kate! She made her grand entrance in the middle of the East Coast 2010 blizzard on February 10th (the day of her father's birthday too!). It will be memorable for all, especially Mia's mom, my sister Beth, who got to ride in an ambulance to the hospital. Being that it was her eighth baby, the EMT's were positive she would deliver on the way to the hospital. But no, Beth is like her big sister (me) .... ten babies and I still labor for at least six hours. The good news is that Mia is here, happy and healthy! And oh, isn't she cute? Dig that hair! She could already use a hair appointment!
Just adorable! I love red headed babies!
I once saw a quote that said, "All babies need a lap." Let me tell you, this baby will never need a lap. With seven brother's and sister's who can't put her down, the challenge will be for mom and dad to teach her to sit/sleep without being held! Been there, done that! In addition to that, she has 31 other nieces and nephews from my family side alone waiting to see her and hold her. Mia Kate is my parents' 39th grandchild!
