If you did not see or get to read Archbishop
Raymond Burke's speech delivered at the National Catholic Prayer breakfast last week, you missed a great address. His speech was very riveting and well worth a good read. In fact, I plan on sharing it with my older children. Archbishop Burke focused on the challenges facing the right to life and the family today. He made it very clear that all Catholics must "accept our responsibility as
citizens to work tirelessly to change unjust programs, policies and
laws." The common good, he said, "depends upon the active engagement of
religious faith in the public forum."
Go read it! I can't do justice to it with a summary!
