Over at Faith and Family's website, Danielle Bean is hosting every Thursday, Small Successes - a chance for mom's to record their small successes for the week. I think this is a great idea. Don't you often have those days when someone says (usually my husband), "So, what did you do today?" Even though you have been busy all day and are throughly exhausted, it is often hard to name just exactly what you did all day. Most often, they are not big achievements or accomplishments. I need to remind myself that small things can add up to one big thing, like caring for and forming my children into responsible, faith-filled adults! So here goes ... my small successes for the week:
1. I made up a care package for my son at the Naval Academy, including his favorite - homemade pumpkin muffins. Better yet, it will be hand delivered tomorrow by a friend visiting Annapolis!
2. I took my children on the March for Life yesterday. Actually, this really should be a "Huge Success" story, but, oh well!
3. I finished our FAFSA form for our daughter's colleges.
Oh, this is fun! What are your successes for this week? Please share them at Faith and Family!
